VisionKL has two upcoming events that cater for various audiences.
First comes the Buddhist Culture & Art Festivities that will be showcasing a collection of cultural performances, dance, documentary and animations, with more than a hundred different stalls offering a wide selection of devotional and souvenir paraphernalia, food and beverages.

buddhist_festival@yahoo.comTime to get your zen fix : more than 30 Buddhist organizations in Malaysia are organising the Buddhist Culture & Art Festival 2007 (BCAF2007), which showcases the rich heritage, culture, and teachings of Buddhism through exhibitions and cultural performances, and reveals Buddhism’s contribution and relevance to world peace and harmony. The BCAF2007 is the largest such event ever held in the history of Malaysian Buddhism.
Exhibits include Buddha and Bodhisattva statues made of various media from around the world; Buddhist relics; a 40-feet Mandala; a 40- feet replica of Buddha’s footprint; a large structure lit by 84,000 light bulbs telling 28 stories of the Buddha’s life; giant Sri Lankan lanterns; cultural artefacts and iconography; floral arrangements and rarely seen Buddhist-themed stamps. A world-class photography exhibition titled The Journey to the West and a calligraphy, paintings and arts exhibition will also be featured.
The second up-coming event is not free, but is certainly something exciting quite a few people out there who patiently wait in anticipation for Sammi Cheng to open her lungs at Cameron Highlands with her energetic and catchy pop tunes.
