Here is the commission payment structure for appointments:

      • Between 1 - 6 appointments per month equals RM 50 per appointment.
      • 7 appointments per month equals RM 60 per appointment.
      • 8 appointments per month equals RM 65 per appointment.
      • 9 appointments per month equals RM 70 per appointment.
      • 10 or more appointment equals RM 75 per appointment.

In addition to this, telesales operatives will also be allocated RM 500 for each sign-up. However, RM 50 will be kept to one-side to cover the claw-back pot; which will then be re-paid thirteen months later.

Each sign-up will then have a 12 month period in which all referrals (leading to) or additional pieces of business will translate to a referral commission. Referral commissions reward a telesales operative with an additional RM 350, also keeping RM 50 to one side for the claw-back pot, which in turn also has a 12 month referral period.

Since advisors are exposed to things that they call claw-backs, which is if a client cancels their plan prior to the initial arrangement, and as a result, the advisors are forced to give their commissions back to the institution that paid them, we too would need to give our commissions back to the advisor if this happens, and in the same way that the advisors are forced to automatically keep 15% of their commissions in a pot for paying back such instances, we to would need to do the same with the telesales operatives, which takes the form of a RM 50 deduction that is paid back thirteen months later when the initial funding period is complete.  This prevents the need for paying back large sums of money should it arise.

Instead of complicating things by paying for name-digging and then needing to verify names and so forth; we are willing to pay an additional RM 25 for each appointment that is made from a telephone number that you have cultivated for yourself. All telephone charges will be paid for by NI-Limits - so long as they correspond to telesales operations and are conducted using the Red Tone services.

In addition to these commissions and bonuses, telesales operatives will also receive a monthly base-salary of RM 100 to be used to cover telephone line rental and internet charges. However, the following conditions apply to the above commissions and bonuses:

      • A minimum of 4 appointments must be made each month:
This assumes that time slots are available and that if they are not, one appointment will be removed from the required quota for every 5 working days unavailable for booking.
      • Appointments must be qualified (by blue-sheets) meetings:
This means that advisors must be able to take notes in a blue-sheet (prospective client data sheet) in order to signify verified interest from the prospective client.
      • Sign-Ups must equate to a BEEPS total of 10K+
For the RM 500 sign-up commission or RM 350 referral commission to be applicable, the client must have invested a minimum level equivalent to a £10,000 investment.
      • All telephone, internet and transportation costs are paid for by the telesales operative out of their base-salary.

Failure to meet the minimum requirement of 4 appointments will result in a RM 100 reduction in the base-salary as well as automatic disqualification of appointments for additional sign-up commissions.  This means that if any of the appointments that you make in that month do business, you will not get the RM 500 bonus for any of the appointments made in that month, or in any of the payments that would be rewarded for the month to come. Failure to meet the minimum requirement three times within any given year will result in automatic termination of sub-contracted labour and you will not be applicable for any bonuses, commissions, or base-salaries at all.

    2. Someone Interested

      1) From my understanding, this job is to find customers who are interested in using online financial planning, a telesales person is to help the advisers make appointments with potential clients, right? And since a customer must investigate a minimum level of 10K (Correct me if i am wrong,) ok, my main UP-MOST concern will be that i cant manage to find any customers! I cannot think of anyone here in small town Miri who will investigate, maybe I have not meet enough people to judge.. Who do I call? Just randomly pick from the yellow page?? That’s what I imagine for now. As for how and what to say to the clients, I HOPE you can do an example for me if we really get a chance to meet.

      2) What if the whole month I did try my best to look and call for customers and really no one is interested in it, means I get RM0.00? Since basic will be deduct also..

      3) Will i know who those advisers are?

      4) Do i need to do any follow-up or meet the customers? Or just telephone calls to make schedule the first appointment only?

You do have a slight misunderstanding…

We are booking appointments for financial advisers who deal exclusively with expatriates working abroad.

For example, there are over two hundred expats working at Shell Miri getting paid between RM 20,000 to RM 200,000 a month for working here in Malaysia.

This is the lifestyle of expatriates…

As a result, they need help investing their money in offshore savings, with institutions such as Royal Skandia, Scottish Provident International, Royal & Sun Alliance, all based in the Isle of Man offering tax-free investments. 75% of expatriates working abroad need the services of a financial adviser, but unfortunately, 80% of that 75% already have the services, but until we call these people to find out, there is no way of knowing…

One of these advisers is Tony, who travels to Miri and Brunei every couple of weeks, and spends the remaining time in Kuala Lumpur.

His existing telesales operative is able to make between 0 to 20 appointments a month, but has been really lazy this year, which is why we are looking for new people.

Last year, she was averaging about 8 appointments a month, two of which were resulting in sign-ups – and she was only working part-part-time!

We would supply you with some initial names (a few hundred at least), but it would be in your own future interest to find new names due to earning more money if they are yours…

Part of your training would include how to find names, but believe me, there is an annual turn-over of more than 25,000 new expatriates coming to Malaysia to work each year, some leave, some come, but there are always new names, and enough to support a multi-billion dollar business that supports thousands of advisers based in the region.

Some of these expatriates have millions of dollars to invest, so believe me again when I say that it is very rare that someone does less than £10,000.

Again, more on this would be explained in the training…

Your role is to simply book those first initial appointments. Tony does the selling and the follow-ups.

If you do not make any appointments in the month, you do not make any money. This is very true. There is no other way of operating a business like this and it is the only way to ensure that people are motivated enough to be making the calls. I used to be able to make four appointments a month by spending an hour a day, and female telesales operatives with a good command of the English language are able to do much better than us blokes!
