Ikram Zidane

Although Ikram’s website is now offline, and no one seems to know where he is, this guy was one of the first Malaysian designers to get international recognition, and worked with NI-Limits on several smaller projects before disappearing. Examples of his work can be seen on FlickR.

Bel Koo

We have attempted to contact Bel Koo several times before, but so far with no luck - fortunately, Kailoon recently managed to get a hold of her and published the interview on his site - seen here. Although we feel her previous website was much nicer than the new one, it’s great to see change!

Having never spoken to Ikram, we cannot say for sure what he is all about, but are eager to meet the man and get to know him. The founder of Filament Phase, this veteran designer knows his stuff and wishes he had lectured at several gatherings around Asia…

Tommy is another freelancer who we have yet to speak with in person, but have traded an email or two. His minimalist style stands-out from the crowd, and clearly understands the concept of less is more.

Art Geex

NI-Limits and Art Geex have been in contact for several years now, and if it were not for the fact that she was based out in Sarawak, she would be a much welcomed member of our family - nonetheless, we wish her all the best for the coming year!

 

My real name per IC is Hayaty Mahdini. No, I am not a male and yes, I love all type of art; I called myself Artgeex because of that.

This is a version 6.1 of my website. Why point one? Because it’s a revision of my version 6; this newer version is much simpler, and above all, more sincere than the previous one. To me, sincerity plays a major role in whatever I do.

This new comer makes it direct to our Top Ten list, simply from his entry to the recent WooThemes contest. We tried to initiate contact with the designer but have so far heard nothing back, and without an About Us page ready on his site, we know very little about him.

Timothy Su

Timothy managed to find his way onto our Top Ten list at the last minute, and came from viewing an old post written a year or more ago that also did a bang-up job of introducing Malaysian freelancers.

Not having met the man, we do not exactly know much about him but are nonetheless interested in meeting him.

I’m sooo inspired by Netdiver and Computer Love. Gosh! Look at all the great stuffs they have. Envy them? Nay… Even though I lead a hectic life, juggling never ending tasks, almost become an insomniac but I’m improving, almost every time. Who knows, they might be the one who got inspired by me *wink*.

I am proud to be Malaysian and now its time for Malaysia to be proud of me! It’s definitely not a pretty job but someone (which in this case is ME) has to do it! hasrimy.com is expanding and exploring more and moreeeee opportunity. I’m still green and I need U to add more colours into me.

Wong Yeng Kit

Kit may be based in the chilling UK, but he is nonetheless Malaysian, a freelancer and a talented designer, which is why he has made it onto our list and why we also look forward to him coming back to Malaysia one day to come and meet our team!

 

I am a fresh graduate multimedia designer and currently staying in United Kingdom. I am a person who has high passion in design technologies, art and illustration. One of my dreams is to master all the design technologies and become one of the TOP designers in the world, and now, I am working toward it! I love to draw since I was a child and this hobby has leaded me into the design field. I found myself especially interested into the accessible website design ever since I come to know about the W3C web standard (year 2007). Nowadays, I spend most of my free time in researching web design technologies.
